I hold a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania (1986), and a Juris Doctor Degree from Temple University School of Law, having graduated in 1989.

I am a Sole practitioner engaged in the general practice of law. My practice emphasis is in the areas of domestic relations (divorce, custody, support, adoptions), general business law (reviewing, negotiating and drafting documents and contracts, safety compliance, human resources), commercial litigation, personal injury, wrongful death and product liability cases.

As a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association I serve as a former member of the Family Law Section, and as a member of the Erie County Bar Association I previously served in the following capacities: Past Chairman Young Lawyer’s Division, Past Chairman Solo & Small Firms Section, Strategic Planning Committee, Budget Committee, Real Estate Committee, Long Range Planning Committee, Family Law Committee, Bar Headquarters Real Estate Site Relocation Committee, Nominating Committee, Bench/Bar Liaison Committee, Law Day Committee. I am also a former Member, American Inns of Court, Northwest Pennsylvania Chapter

I have a strong belief that one must give back the community more than one receives, and in that spirit I have consistently maintained significant community involvement, such as
serving as a member of the Edinboro University Alumni Association from 1991- present, and currently serving as its Immediate Past President, as well as being being a former Vice-President, Secretary and former Chairman of the Development Committee. I have also served as the Chairman for the Edinboro University Alumni Association Annual Fund Campaign. I am also a former member of the Board of Directors of Edinboro University Services, Inc, a non-profit organization that serves Edinboro University in a philanthropic manner. Further I am on the Board of Directors of the Presbyterian Homes and serve as the Chair of the Advisory Board of Villa Maria Elementary School. "

I have served as a Board Member, and provided free legal counsel to Horizon House Services for Abused Women, an abused woman’s shelter in rural Erie County.

I have served as a member of the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army and as a Trustee of the Erie Art Museum.

I have lectured in the following areas, on the listed topics, Edinboro University Academic Festival, employment law matters; Erie County Bar Association Practicum Program; Erie County Bar Association Stepping Out Program counseling local high school seniors on their rights and obligations under the law; Erie County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division Drug Education Program counseling elementary school students on drug education and awareness; Erie County Bar Association, domestic relations lecturer; Keynote Speaker – Edinboro University of Pennsylvania Senior Saturday.

In addition, I provide free legal services to many organizations, not the least of which is my church, where I serve as the Chairman of the Glenwood United Methodist Church Committee on Sexual Harassment and Abuse. I have also taught Sunday School for grades 6-8 and for grades 9-12, and am a former Treasurer for the Church.
